MANUALLY OPERATED SYSTEMS
The manually operated system utilizes a manifold and ball valve set up.
After turning the system on, one valve is turned on at a time, and a mist is sprayed on the footing below. After a designated time, the first valve is shut off while the second is turned on. This continues untill all valves have been used.
It normally takes approximately 8 to 14 minutes to water the entire arena, end to end, kickboard to kickboard.
Then the system is shut off and the valves are positioned for drainage of the system. It is very important that the valves are opened after operation to prevent freezing of the system in cold weather.
The manually operated system utilizes a pump, tank, and manifold system to ensure full, even coverage during each application.
